I spent months reviewing solar generators, back and forth, it almost drove me crazy but I wanted to get it right the first time. So Ecoflow was my choice hands down. The quality, capacities, charge rates, the whole shibang. I am still building my system starting out with 2 Ecoflow Max 2000's and 4 160 solar panels. I eventually want to add a couple of the expandable batteries. I tested a full charge battery on my 21 cubic foot fridge overnite and after about 12 hours the battery still had 47% charge on it and that blew me away! Now why I wish I found these 18 months earlier is because at that time I bought a new dual fuel generator which can power the whole house including central air and now its pretty much obsolete! Of course I can't run the A/C off the solar units but once bought, there is no further cost! I hate to sell the gas generator, I like it just to have it (I'm that way with most things I own) but I've used it only once to drill some holes. But Ecoflow, the best I've ever researched and am 100% pleased with the purchase and highly recommend.

I love the app that can monitor everything. FYI, I put it in my old camper van. The frig pulls around 280amps, on the app that says it would last 4 hours. So not real practical in that regard. I hooked up a portable solar panel that was supposed to be 100 watt, but in full sun it only came up to 85, which showed it would recharge in 16 hours. So I can either go above the arctic circle or get more solar panels;). It obviously won’t run an AC unit, but I still think it might be the answer in certain situations.

I purchased two EcoFlow Delta Max's bundled with 220 W BiFacial Foldable solar panels. The products were shipped in good packaging and arrived in good condition. I put the initial charge on the units and they charged quickly as stated in the literature. The interface with my phone also was easy to set up and it works great. I purchased this units as backup as I receive daily warnings of electric outages. I also purchased these units to power the EcoFlow Wave to supplement my current AC to make my 94 year old mother comfortable. I will update this review after a couple months of using this product.

I bought this product for back-up to rolling blackouts or planned electrical shut-downs. I have an elderly Mother-in-Law that for obvious reasons would not do well in the event of our power being off-line. Winters here in California would be fairly easy to get through without electricity but our late Summers can be pretty brutal. Air conditioning is a MUST for the elderly.I plugged my 8000 BTU window air-conditioner into the Delta MAX EcoFlow unit and ran it for almost 2 full days before a recharge was necessary. I think that between my 600 watts of Solar power and the EcoFlow unit, I'd be able to run not only my window AC, but also both my refrigerator and separate freezer for a couple days until power was restored. Beyond a couple days, I probably would have to get a little more creative with conservation of my resources.I am very happy about my purchase of the EcoFlow Delta Max. Learning new things about my unit everyday.

I initially started to charge the Delta Max via a garage outlet on a 15-amp circuit.Monitoring the voltage at the outlet used, I noticed the Delta Max pulled it down to 100v from the normal 120v, indicating the 15-amp circuit wiring was a very long run and would not be a good idea to leave it charging at full power! This is rated at 1800w (15A) charging power. It came with only a 14/3 cord, which is only supposed to be used for 12A or less. This should be a 12/3 cord, rated at 16A.WARNING!Make sure you charge this unit with a 20-amp circuit that is close to your circuit panel!Using a 15-amp circuit will cause a substantial voltage drop and heat the 15-amp circuit breaker and wiring between and could damage or weaken outlets! Most major home appliances draw 12-amps or less, so this will definitely stress your 15-amp circuit and could damage old circuit wiring!Using the default 400w low current setting takes longer to fully recharge but is much safer. Using the App to set the high current charge to 1200-1500w is withing the recommended capability of a 15-amp circuit.A Kill-A-Watt Meter will let you know how far the voltage drop at the outlet is and indicate how strong the circuit is for charging the Delta Max.

If you're planning on needing substantial backup power, this is a great addition to your kit. Home, camping, job site... this unit does it all.Do make sure you have at least one strong back available; this thing is pretty heavy(48 pounds.)Power out- this will save your butt.

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. There's plenty of information on youTube regarding how it works. And how you can use it. I've charged this up from the house out late it does exactly like it says. I've also charged it up with a solar panels. This is a wonderful backup if you need energy. Due to an emergency. Or if you're going out and about it's about 48 pounds. I can't wait to get the extra batteries

To estimate my power outage requirements I calculated my device wattage draw by using the kuman KW47-US Electricity Usage Monitor. I displayed current, lo & hi wattage for each device I wanted to back up. After looking at several Solar Generators I settled on the EF ECOFLOW Delta Max (2000) Solar Generator 2016Wh with 220W Solar Panel. The system is easily assembled and the display provides very useful system status along with estimated run-times. After several tests the DELTA Max 2000 exceeded my runtime estimates. It is pre-charged, very quiet and ready to go. I did build a frame for the 220 watt solar panel out of ¾ inch PVC pipe because it would be located in a location where it gets a little windy. Note, I did contact support @ support@ecoflow.com, and received a response within one business day.

Peace of mind We had to save to invest in this and I am so happy we did it can power my air conditioner on eco-mode my TV electric fireplace heater PlayStation 5 and Xbox S for 12 hours all at once We bought it just for emergencies and outdoor cookouts or whatever so I like the fact that it’s a lighter weight I know the other generators have the longer lasting battery but the battery is very heavy so that’s why I decided to buy this one If you plan on using this to power your home as a part of everyday life I suggest getting something with a Longer lasting battery life

Just waiting for a power outage. Never thought I say that. Also bought a small inverter generator to charge the ecoflow if the power stays out longer than a day. Solar power works only if you have sun

I've been using this for several months now and it's working perfectly. I have charged by 3 100 watt renergy panels in series and also by the wall charger with no problem. I have mostly powered small appliances but I have ran a microwave and a 5000 but window unit with no problem. It's a little heavy to move very often but I expected that. It's also a little inconvenient having to access both the front and rear of the unit, as this limits where you can place the unit. I do like the simplicity of the display and that was one of the reasons I chose ecoflow.

***UPDATE*** Had some trouble charging Delta Max past 35%, but huge thanks to EcoFlow, they worked with me to figure out the problem, they had me do an SOC calibration which had me discharge the unit to 0% (until it automatically shuts itself off) and then recharge it. The charge level then showed 100% when fully charged. The SOC calibration process is not in the user manual, that's why 4 stars, otherwise seems like it will be a great unit. I would now trust it in an emergency since it's working as intended.Original Review -Spent 2 hours trying absolutely everything to get it to charge, changing settings, updating firmware, discharged it under 30% from 52% and then plugged it in, it actually started charging!!! But then it STOPPED at 35%. I would NOT trust it if I needed it in an emergency.

We were tired of messing with a gas generator as we did our 1891 castle restoration. With this solar generator, we can have the power source in the same place as we are working and no noise. Since the Mooreland House was in such bad shape it will be a while before we can get grid power back on. This Delta Max is amazing and we are very pleased.

Tested this unit running my 7 year old LG 29cf refrigerator/freezer combo as well as my 5cf Frigidaire chest freezer, charged my cellphone and ran my modem/router. With all this connected the delta max ran for 13 hours. Total battery consumption from 100% down to 16%.As for charging its super fast less than 2 hours! I like that you can adjust the charge rate via the app and monitor output and input. Overall very happy with this unit so far and plan on buying more Ecoflow products soon.

Got this battery as a back-up during power outages. While the existent battery (competitor brand) covers most of my needs: pellets stove, Starlink, TV, chargers, lights for a considerable number of hours, it could not start the 3/4HP shallow well jet pump. Well, this is not the case anymore. Delta Max does the job in a blink of an eye. Very impressed! The water pump only draws 1,300 watts continuous operation but it's the start that requires that spike of power the other battery could not deliver. I guess the X-Boost feature does all the difference.

Prepared for rolling blackouts, this unit will even power a frig. Remember, a frig kicks on and off as needed, so it is not a constant draw of power. Easy to read display shows plugged in power source consumption and hours remaining, yes hours, not minutes.

So I used to have a 75 ft extension cord running out to my tool shed that plugged into a 20 amp generator inlet. I didn't want to deal with trenching and running a line so I figured I would experiment going off grid with this product and some solar panels. I will list the good and bad below with each issue I ran intoCharging the generator: I used 4x200 watt solar panels on the roof and ran them to the machine. One the best day so far I have gotten about 475 watts input on the solar panels and have two facing east and two facing west since I am looking for the longest input not the highest. It charges just fine without any issue. At dusk I can hear a relay clicking which I looked up and other users have reported it is the solar generator recognizing some minor input by the solar panels but not enough to click over the charging aspect. I hope there is no long term issues with the relayApp: The app is amazing and I love it. The garage gets very mild wifi but the generator is able to pick up on it. Set up is a breeze and I can control the outlets, run time, charge capacity etc from the app. It is very convenient.Power: The power is absolutely amazing. I have my garage hooked up with 6 Shop LED lights drawing about 300 watts and a fan on a seperate 15 amp circuit and a sump pump that is crucial for the drainage in the backyard + and any power tool you can imagine on a dedicated 20 amp circuit. The 20 amp I have a true HD 20 amp plug running into the inlet. I have turned on the lights, sump pump and air compressor all at once and this had no issue powering everything with zero start up lag. I turned the sump pump off and powered up the shop vac and measured the watts and was close to 1800 with the vac and compressor on. I am absolutely impressed with the power this thing can deliver and was super worried about it running these things however it shows no issue. I have faith it will power the table saw and miter saw without issue as both those machines draw a lower wattage and amps than what I experimented with.Run Time and Measurement issues: This is my biggest concern with this machine is I don't feel the battery capacity is a true 2kwh design. I have a "kill a watt" measurement tool and it is measuring my sump pump at 680 watts however this is measuring the same pump at almost 800 watts. That is a huge discrepancy and it seems like there is a markup of watts in anything it is running. For example my bug zapper on the kill a watt measures at approximately 60 watts but on the generator it is pulling 78 watts. It is almost like anything drawing current is marked up by almost 15-20%.Another major issue I have is the machines draw on itself while just sitting there. My shed has a constant draw of around 5 watts (measured with the kill a watt machine) when everything is off. This should mean that with nothing running I should still get roughly 16 days off the machine with nothing running. That isn't the case as it will run itself down in about 2.5 days without anything powered on. That means the generator itself is drawing a considerable amount of power just to keep itself on whether that is to keep it connected to wifi or keep the fan going etc. Not sure why but that just feels unnaceptable to me. I will go to bed and it will be at 100% and I will wake up and it will be at roughly 82%. That makes it really tough to be reliable in the winter when I am not getting a huge solar input. I am worried that it won't be able to keep up with the draw let alone power the sump pump and anything else needed during that time frame.I could get another battery to supplement this but you are limited to 800 watt solar input and to charge almost 4kwh isn't going to happen on the best day in the winter where I live. That is a huge cautionary tale for anyone looking at this for off grid.

The Delta Max 2000 gets the job done. I I can run any household appliance during power outages ( live on a island in Pacific Northwest) and quickly recharge via my car. While more expensive than a gas powered generator initially, the cost of gas, noisy operation, maintenance, and paying an electrician for needed power panel makes EcoFlow a good investment long term. I will get the solar panel.
